A daughter of Hudson and Meg from our summer 2018 litter, Praderia’s Hallelujah “Halle” completed her Canadian Championship (pending CKC confirmation) at the Evelyn Kenney Kennel & Obedience Club show. Thank you Judge Pamela Bruce for the Group 4 Placement to finish Halle’s title.
We are thrilled to report two new American Champions after a wonderful weekend in Portland. Five Spanish Water Dogs were entered each of the four days. On Thursday, Zorrazo Back With A Bang “Meg” won BOB for a 3 pt major and went on to take Group 4, NOHS. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Zorrazo Xplorer “Hudson” took BOB with “Meg” taking BOS, giving each of them a 3 pt major each day. Their titles now read Am Cdn CH Zorrazo Back With A Bang PT and Am CH Cdn GR CH Zorrazo Xplorer Am PT Cdn AgN AgNJ RA. (pictures to follow).
Hudson & Meg had a great weekend at the Pacific Northwest Herding Club’s fall trial at Packleader Farm near Gig Harbor WA in late September. Both dogs earned their Pre Trial titles over Friday and Saturday, and then went on to each earn a “leg” of Started A Course on sheep on Sunday. Great weekend!!
The breeding between Hudson and Meg resulted in 5 lovely, healthy puppies, born June 7 2018. Two boys and three girls, these youngsters are happily settled in their new homes, including little “Halle” who will stay on with Glenda with hopes of adding another generation in the future. Thanks Tracey Geddes for the great “family portrait.” Our next litter is tentatively planned for Summer 2019.
We currently have a litter of 4 puppies “on the ground.” All of these puppies are spoken for.
We are hoping to have a summer litter in early June.
We are also excited to introduce “Oro,” Zorrazo’s Painted In Gold who came home from Europe recently. Born in January, he is the son of EeW-16 NordJW-15 FiJW-15 Fi Ch Se Ch Hr Ch Hr jCh Don’t Tell Mama de Sinkovic ” Milow” x Brunilda de Sinkovic. He is a personable and outgoing puppy; we look forward to watching him grow!
We are proud to announce that with very limited showing, Hudson and Fasu were the top winning Conformation, Rally and Agility Spanish Water Dogs in Canada in 2017. Both earned multiple Group placements, as well as getting a start on their agility titles. We look forward to the breed’s first appearance in the Herding Group in CKC shows in 2018, and more fun in the agility rings!
SWDCA 2017 Specialty
The SWDCA National Breed Specialty was held in Monroe MI on Saturday, July 9, 2017 as part of the Ann Arbor kennel Club Cluster. The Club was pleased to have highly respected Canadian Judge Ms. Virginia Lynne for this event. With an entry of 29 spanish Water dogs, we were thrilled with the success of our dogs. At 15 months, “Meg|(Cdn CH Zorrazo Back With a Bang( earned a 5 pt major by taking Best of Winners. “Hudson” (Cdn GR CH Zorrazo Xplorer RN NA NJ) earned a 3 pt major taking Winners Male, and “Fasu” (Cdn Gr CH Am CH Bernardo De Sinkovic RN NA NJ) was awarded Select Male to earn a 5 pt Gr CH major. In Sunday’s supported entry, “Vitsi” (Croatian & Cdn CH Zorrazo Witch Hazel) earned a 5 pt major taking Winners Bitch. We Were delighted by this recognition of our dogs, and thoroughly enjoyed visiting and getting caught up with the breed community of the eastern U.S.
November 2016: New Rally Titles
Fasu and Hudson both earned qualifying scores on 3 consecutive days at the Lethbridge Kennel & Obedience Club to earn their CKC Rally Novice titles! Their scores in the high 80’s & 90’s earned some nice ribbons for their placements within their classes!
August 2016: Summer Success in the US!!
In mid August, Fasu and Hudson had a very successful weekend at the Cudahy and Racine Kennel Club shows near Milwaukee WI. Fasu finished his American Championship (in 3 weekends of showing) with 2 BOB and a Group 2 becoming the first Canadian/US CH in history!! Hudson took BOB one day as well, earning his first American major!
July 4, 2016, Lakeland Kennel & Obedience Club
Fasu and Hudson had a GREAT weekend in Cold Lake! Six shows, 2 Group 2nd and 1 Group 3rd for Fasu, and Hudson took Best of Breed away from his “big brother” on Sunday and went on to a Group 2nd earning a 3 pt major towards his CKC Championship.

June, 2016: Fasu & Hudson go to the US…
Fasu & Hudson attended two consecutive weekends of shows in MA and CT in early June. Fasu took Best of Winners 3 out of 4 days, and Best of Breed over several Specials on 1 day, returning home with 10 points including a major! Hudson took Best Puppy all four days.
March, 2016: Today at the Battle River Canine Association, Judge Virginia Lynne awarded Fasu a Group 4th!
A Canadian CH in 2 weekends!
“Fasu” aka Canadian CH Bernardo De Sinkovic becomes the second Spanish Water Dog to earn a CKC CH (CKC approval pending) title (our boy Chase was the first). With 2 Group 4th placements at the Alberta Kennel Club Winter Classic, and 3 Best of Breed plus one Group 3rd at the Victoria City Kennel Club under Judge Gordon Hayburn, Fasu has finished his show championship in record time!
In 2007, Glenda sold a puppy out of her Cinder & Trevi to a family that included an autistic child. The bond formed between girl and dog became the subject of an article in the Calgary Herald.
